  • Stephen Brown

    Steve became a solicitor in the United States in 2002 and immigrated to Australia with his wife (a native of the Sunshine Coast) and children in 2012. Since 2014 Steve and his family have called Gympie their home and are proud to be active members in this amazing community. Steve was previously a board member with several community-based organisations in the United States. Steve is passionate about helping the most vulnerable in our community and is proud to be a part of an organisation such as Community Action who share this same goal.

    A native of Gympie, John has been a lawyer for over 30 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of estate planning and administration, property, conveyancing, and commercial law.

  • Benjamin Parke

    An early career solicitor dedicated to providing people with quality legal representation when they need it most, Ben holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from the Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Sunshine Coast, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian College of Law.

    Ben previously worked as a youth worker in Longreach and as a law clerk in a busy family law practice in his hometown of Gympie. After being admitted as a Solicitor at the Brisbane Supreme Court in February 2022, he practiced as a solicitor in Kingaroy where he specialised in Estate Planning and Administration as well as Traffic Law and Criminal Law.

    Ben is now employed with Masters and Brown Lawyers as a solicitor practicing in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Traffic Law, Criminal Law, and Conveyancing, where he aims to be a well-prepared and insightful advocate for his clients.
